Our journey is constantly evolving and I'm really happy we are going to learn and grow and get to know ourselves better through movement…together.

A bit about me—my story of movement and fitness started from a young age as I participated in every sport possible and loved anything active and adventurous as well: soccer, swimming, running, horseback riding, and travel. In my late teen years due to a combination of perfectionism, stress, and personal life story, I developed eating and exercise disorders which changed the trajectory of my life for many years.

As a young adult, I obtained my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and broadened my scope of interests and modalities that I incorporate with my clients to include: weight lifting and functional fitness, yoga and breathwork, somatics and mobility, and pregnancy and postpartum care.

Upon getting pregnant with my son, who is now 3 years old, I experienced something I never thought I would: chronic pain. This affected my SIJ, my low back, my neck and jaw, and also brought generalized inflammation, burnout, and fatigue. I felt so disconnected from my body, so tense everywhere, so unable to do all the movement I loved, and so afraid that I was going to feel this way forever. It was an incredibly painful process for me, and continues to be a learning journey, but I genuinely know it was necessary for me to take a deeper look at all the layers of me: physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and more.

Through discovering the approach I now implement, I was finally able to feel in my body without dissociating and without believing everything in my life had to be so intense at all times to create positive results. I finally learned to love and trust myself and create safety in my nervous system so that I could rebuild my mobility, fitness, eating patterns, stress management, communication, rest, intensity, and how I show up in the world. I finally felt how as a human, I am an incredible system of systems and cycles that nature created perfectly and that I am able to heal and feel, move, and look better than ever.

I am so thankful for where I am now and I am extremely passionate about helping others with similar (or different!) stories find their balance of effort and ease, structure and freedom, method and curiosity. I hope you are able to find something in here that you connect with and I hope following along more can help you in many ways! I promise that getting to know yourself through movement and to progress from the inside out will bring the most beautiful results.

I am here to create an offering and build a community of people who experience movement and pursue health throughout their lives in a connected, embodied, and life-giving way. Feeling that we can be strong & capable, fluid & soft, committed & whole.
